Item Description
First is 7/8" porcelain on brass with soldered 1-3/8" tall stick pin on the reverse. Pin has some small bends. Porcelain has a few very trivial marks but remains excellent and shows log cabin to recall the 1840 campaign of Benjamin Harrison's grandfather William Henry Harrison. Next item is a 1-15/16" tall stickpin with pair of die-cut initials "H&M" representing Harrison & Morton. NM luster. Third item also recalls the 'Hard Cider' campaign of 1840 and consists of a 3/16" tall black colored stickpin topped by a miniature replica of a whiskey barrel .5" long and 3/8" in dia. No text but precisely detailed down to the stopper on the side. NM. Last is a 1" brass lapel stud which has early use of celluloid forming the background behind the brass die-cut image of him accented by stars. Small crevice to the left of his head may show some dirt in our photo but that is now removed. Slight luster wear but vast majority remains. All are scarce pieces.
