Item Description
First in row one is 7/8" and last in row five is 1.75". First six buttons are for McKinley. The real photo sepia is a rarity. The one with bright gold background may show a few dots in our photo but this was dirt now removed and the piece is NM displaying Mint. Row three begins with rare button "In Memoriam Garret A. Hobart." Shallow dent at top left but clean. Next is equally rare button showing Sen. Mark Hanna. Next is Hake #253 for Theodore Roosevelt from 1919. Next is 1.25" quite scarce "In Memoriam" for Wilson with the date of his death below. Tiniest touch of age on the panel background at bottom but still VF. First in row four is for "The Late Dr. Richard Henry Boyd." He was an African-American Minister and businessman who founded the National Baptist Publishing Board. Next for Harding is Hake #84. Following for Harding "In Memoriam" is unlisted in Hake in this 7/8" size. Last for Harding is Hake #86 in 1.25" size. First in row five is for Chicago Mayor Cermak who died in a failed assassination attempt on Franklin Roosevelt. Next is a stiff fiber board disk "In Memory Of Franklin D. Roosevelt" from 1945. Next is a 1" litho "Memorial Will Rogers" who died in an Alaskan plane crash with pilot Wiley Post. Last is from 1965 for Stevenson incorporating his quotation "There Are No Gains Without Pains." All are Exc. with minor exceptions as noted.
