Item Description
1.25” with no back paper or maker name. Mentioned for accuracy but detracting barely at all, the white panel at the very top has slight darker tone at the upper 1/8”. This area and the upper edge of the eagle’s wings has a small bit of near microscopic rippling of the celluloid surface caused by the heat lamination process. A similar tiny 1/8x.25” area is along Garner’s jaw with an even smaller area around the word “For.” These tiny ripples show only certain light angles. The button remains an excellent example with these trivial marks off set by intense color, perfect centering, high gloss and much less than typical surface wear. A beautiful example of a rare jugate. Among FDR 1932 jugates, only Hake #1 rivals this for best color and design. Hake #2006 with 2004 value of $1,150.00.
