Item Description
The iron hatchet is 2x3.5" with one side picturing famous prohibition advocate with text "Ax Of All Nations/1901/Cut Out The Whiskey &" with other side reading "Buy Laurel Stoves & Ranges/Art Stove Co. Detroit Mich." The piece has nickel plating and only small touches of wear. The five buttons range from .75" to 7/8". First is a rarity reading "A Saloonless Nation." This has back paper from "Mass Anti-Saloon League." Second reads "The Liquor Traffic Must Go." No back paper. Third has quotation "'Abstainers Are Never Drunkards.'" No back paper. Fourth reads "Oh! Dry Up." This was a give-away with Perfection Cigarettes back paper. Last reads "I'm The Guy That Licked The Liquor." Missing the back paper that named cigarette company Hassen or Tokio. All five celluloid's are NM displaying Mint.
