Item Description
19.5x47.25" frame contains gorgeously illustrated poster that has been professionally matted to 13x40.5". c. 1937. Poster has nice image of cowboy hat-wearing Mix at top w/his facsimile signature below and "Tom Mix 'Himself' And Tony Will Positively Appear At Each Performance" text just above great image of aerialist Irma Ward, who is touted as "Empress Of The Air." Small images of two clowns appear at bottom center, looking up at Irma. Poster was originally folded and has moderate handling wear w/creases and 1.5" tear at upper left corner and small tears from posting at bottom corners. 1/8" hole just above large "Tom Mix" name. As matted and framed, poster still retains an attractive display w/bright, vivid colors. Fine overall.
