Item Description
Original 28x41" one-sheet movie poster for 1927 film in which Tom Mix plays a rancher so infatuated w/flying that he adds wings and a propeller to the ranch jalopy and uses it to tackle a gang of rustlers in this silent-era Western. Poster features wonderful illustration of Mix being tossed from crashing flying jalopy as horses and chickens flee and female co-star Dorothy Dwan looks on. Poster was originally folded and as such, has usual and typical fold lines. Scattered margin wear w/paper tape reinforcements added on reverse. Bottom margin has inked theater information. Margins also have some scattered pinholes, but if matted and framed, poster would display VF as main image area remains bright and clean.
