Item Description
Nice quality box w/sleeve contains 2-5/8x3.75" velvet-covered, hinged-lid case which contains coin issued by the US Mint in 2006 to commemorate the centennial of the old San Francisco Mint surviving the 1906 San Francisco Earthquake and resultant fires. Set includes metal attachment of the US Mint on the outside of the case, which holds $5 gold coin proof within velvet-covered insert. Coin bears image of the San Francisco Mint on obverse and heraldic eagle on reverse, w/highly polished bkg. These coins were also issued in uncirculated condition (see item #785). Coins were minted at San Francisco and are 90% gold, .24 troy oz. Mint as issued. Comes with US Mint COA. From the Robert M. Overstreet Collection and comes with COA.
