Item Description
These are 7-8" tall. They do not have pins on the reverse as they were apparently worn with a safety or straight pin. Top corners each have two tiny pin holes being once mounted. First two read "J.P. Manchester Protectives Hume, N.Y." First shows firemen on ladder rescuing a woman while the second shows a pumper. Lower text on first reads "With Wm. P. Brooks/Hose No. 1/Fillmore July 4th 1887." Some loss of color from the gold lettering and light age stain. Second has gray age marks on upper 40%. Most gold lettering intact with lower text reading "With Friendship Steamer Co. No. 1 Friendship, N.Y. Sept. 7th 1887." Next item has overlay dark red ribbon reading "Compliments of Andrew Sehl." Lower text on white reads "Canisteo Steamer Supply Co. No. 1 Canisteo, N.Y." Last with hand painted floral decoration reads "Compliments of M.J. Turner, Foreman./Canisteo Steamer Company, No. 1./Canisteo, N.Y." The second two are VF.
