Item Description
Book drawings are credited on title page to Manuel Gonzalez and Don Maclaughlin. Art was done for “Cozy Corner Series” book #209725 copyright 1952. First art board has 4x9.75” image area for page 15 showing Donald holding his aching back, second board has 4.75x9.75” image area w/happy Donald admiring wooden hammock. Both boards have pencil notes and guidelines, art will mat and frame to Exc. appearance. Comes w/ VF book w/cover showing Donald lying on wooden hammock looking at star. With the exception of WWII, Gonzalez also drew the Mickey Mouse Sunday comic strip 1938-1981 and inked the “Scamp” comic strip.
