Item Description
2-1/8" with lightly aged Bastian paper. Cartoon knight in armor also wearing a robe stands holding what seems to be a bamboo spear from which a pennant flies with not all letters showing but it seems to represent "Cornell." The Spring Day tradition began May 1901 and became an annual excuse to cancel class in the name of mass debauchery (see following item). This knight has floral accents on his helmet visor, wears spurs on his metal covered feet, and is accented by a pair of swords. Caption below is "Allah, Humph!" with exceedingly tiny text denoting the artist name that appears to be "Turner." Light scattered surface wear only in reflected light. Extremely Fine and displays Mint. One seen.
