Item Description
20x28" poster features art in style similar to that which appeared on the original "Star Wars" movie poster. Released in 1977, this poster shows Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia front and center, w/droids C-3PO and R2-D2 and large image of Darth Vader in bkg. Additional imagery includes X-Wing Fighters and buildings that appear to be Mos Eisley spaceport. Poster art was created by The Brothers Hildebrandt, twins noted for their fantasy and science-fiction art. Poster was sold in stores at the time. Rolled as issued, poster has some lt. handling wear but displays Exc. w/vivid colors.
