Item Description
Original illustrated cardboard box contains 17" long painted pressed steel sprinkler truck #3700. c. early 1960s. Truck features a realistic Ford truck cab of the period, w/"Ford" decal on front and metal "Ford" hubcaps. Complete w/original cardboard box insert and instruction sheet. Cab has two original store reduced price stickers, which could be easily removed if so desired. Truck has "Ny-Lint Street Sprinkler" decals on either side of tank. Toy features cab that lifts up to expose motor as well as front bumper mounted sprayers that actually spray water from tank. Left of these has broken of in 1" area, but truck is o/w NM, old store stock. Box is nicely illustrated and shows truck's functions. Box has some lt. wear/aging and large area of grease penciling on underside beside partial mailing label. Fine. Wonderfully designed toy.
