Item numbers 1 through 1144 in auction 209
Item Description
7.5x10.25” slick paper folder opens to 28-5/8” wide showing packed outdoor stadium w/athletes on field. Photo has second caption “110,000 Spectators Were Present In The Olympic Stadium”. Light color rubs along fold lines, bottom margin has a few moisture marks. VG overall, but image area Exc. Germany built this new stadium to outdo the 1932 Los Angeles games. This was the first Olympics to feature basketball and have live TV coverage. Jesse Owens won four gold medals, bringing the US total gold count to 24. Great historic piece to frame.
