Pair dates to 1952. First is 9.5x12" thin plastic sign w/large image of grape juice in pitcher and glasses w/image of Welch's frozen concentrated grape juice can w/Howdy Doody image. Sign is marked "Poppix" and as designed to be lit from behind for store display purposes and has blank area at corner for pricing. Sign has lt. wear but is Exc. overall. 24-7/8x28-7/8" shrink-wrapped mat has opening revealing die-cut cardboard sign w/large Howdy Doody image at upper left. Text at lower left "Easy-To-Win! Fill Out Coupon And Drop In Welch's Lucky Box." Sample coupon at right has text "Offered By Welch's Grape Juice And This Store. Winners Will Be Announced Here On ..." w/blank left for date. Left side has 11.75" diagonal crease w/broken surface paper. A few other hairline surface paper creases on three sides. VG. Matting greatly improves appearance. Rare.
