Painting is c. 1990s.11x14” stiff art paper has superb acrylic head and shoulders painting of Chief Thundercloud who played the original Tonto in both Republic serials in 1938 and 1939. Art is signed in ink at right “Fred Fredericks”. Exc. Fredericks has drawn the “Mandrake The Magician” comic strip for over 40 years, did “The Phantom” Sunday comic strip for five years, and inked many comic books.
