Item Description
8x10" program w/32 pages for Philadelphia Spectrum 76ers NBA basketball 1967-1968 season opener game against the LA Lakers that took place Oct. 18, 1967. The previous season, the 76ers won their first NBA title, the team's first as well as basketball legend Wilt Chamberlain's first title. Front of program features "National Basketball Association World's Professional Championship" trophy and has been signed by seven players as well as team owner and president of the team at the time - Irv Kosloff in blue ink. Player signatures include Hall of Fame players Billy Cunningham and Wilt Chamberlain as well as Chet Walker, Matty Guokas, Wally Jones and Luke Jackson (better known as "Lucious Jackson"). Additional blue ink signature within on score page for this game (beside the Laker's roster of course) of Lakers player Cliff Anderson. Signature areas are Exc. Program has lt. handling wear w/pinch creases to spine. VF. Program comes w/souvenir basketball from same time period which bears the facsimile signatures of Kosloff and 13 76ers, including Chamberlain, Jackson and others. Ball has scattered aging and remains inflated. VF. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
