Item Description
Nice quality box w/sleeve contains 2-5/8x2-5/8" velvet-covered, hinged-lid case which contains coin issued by the US Mint in 2000 to commemorate the bicentennial of the Library of Congress. Set includes metal attachment of the US Mint on the outside of the case, which held uncirculated $10 coin within velvet-covered insert. Coin bears image of the hand of Minerva holding torch of learning w/the dome of the Jefferson Building in bkg. by John Mercanti on obverse and Library of Congress logo by Thomas D. Rogers, Sr. on reverse. Coins were minted at West Point and are 48% platinum, 48% gold and 4% alloy. Comes with US Mint COA. Uncirculated and Mint as issued. Coin has been removed from case and graded MS70 by PCGS, the highest grade possible. From the Robert M. Overstreet Collection and comes with COA.
