Nice quality box w/sleeve contains 3.5x5x1.5" deep hinged-lid case which contains coin issued by the US Mint in 2007 to honor the First Spouses of the United States. Case holds uncirculated $10 gold coin within velvet-covered insert. Coin bears image of "Jefferson's Liberty" by Robert Scot on obverse and Jefferson's grave on reverse by Charles Vickers, w/text from his memorial stone. While this is the First Spouse series, Jefferson's wife had already passed away by the time he assumed the Presidency, hence this coin's obverse features a reproduction of the Draped Bust Half Cent minted in the early 1800s, the time of Jefferson's Presidency.
