First is a 2" double layer square of cardboard secured by four red rivets at the corners. Front serves as a dexterity puzzle with text "Poll-Parrot Says, Vote For." When the badge is turned over there is a portrait with text "Howdy Doody For President." There was possibly once a string to assist in the flipping of the item but that is gone. Small brown mark by one of the rivets on the Howdy picture side. The rest is very clean but with just some light general edge wear. Second flip is 1.75" with bar pin at top. On the front is portrait and text "Howdy Doody Says" while the underside illustrates bread loaf with text "Eat Wonder Bread." The cardboard edge holding the brass pin is split most of its length but a fragment of it remains to hold the pin in the slot. Rest of the cardboard has just light general age and the string to flip the item is intact. The "For President" piece carries a 1952 copyright. From the Robert M. Overstreet Collection. Comes w/COA.
