Item Description
Crater of Diamonds State Park is a 911 acre State Park in the town of Murfreesboro, Pike County, AR. The park features a 37.5 acre plowed field, the world's only natural diamond-bearing site accessible to the public. Diamonds have continuously been discovered in the field since 1906, including the world's only perfect diamond ever discovered, the Strawn-Wagner Diamond. Long ago, a volcano formed at this site, which allowed for a multitude of diamonds to be brought up to the surface. Offered here is a .25" rough brown diamond, which measures 1.31 carats. Diamond comes w/"Crater Of Diamonds State Park" COA stating the diamond was found April 2, 2007 and has been signed by the Park Superintendent. From the Robert M. Overstreet Collection and comes with COA.
