28x42" poster presented by the John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Company of Boston shows great scene of American Legion members in uniform marching in parade under banner reading "1918 And Now - Carrying On For Community, State And Nation" w/scene above showing World War I soldiers on battlefield. Art has Griswold artist name at lower left and bottom has text announcing 13th Annual American Legion Convention and Parade that took place in Detroit, MI. Sept. 21-24, 1931. Poster has been rolled and has some handling wear along margins and even lt. aging but would display VF if framed.
