Item Description
1.75x2-3/8" card with a blank reverse. Card holds 1.25" coin with 1938 copyright and name of maker "Etched Products Corp" (see following item). The card also reads "Solid Bronze" but this example is in gleaming silver luster with front showing Lone Ranger on Silver with both of their names. This item came from the archives of the radio station that created the program January, 1933. Included is small purple mailing envelope 2-3/8x3-5/8" that includes the return address of "Station WXYZ/17th Floor Stroh Bldg./Detroit, Mich." In addition, this is not the standard 1938 issue. On that the reverse shows a horseshoe with text "Silver's Lucky Horseshoe." This example has all of that but within the horseshoe is additional text "Good Luck From WXYZ Detroit 1941." Mint and with NM envelope. Rare. From the archives of Detrioit's WXYZ and obtained by former long-time station employee Jiam DesJardin.
