Item Description
This c.1938 enamel paint on two shades of brass luster badge was produced in two sizes and this is the larger of the two. The badge has a very faint 1/8" hairline mark on the right side but overall is 99.8% Mint and certainly among the very finest examples we have seen. However, much rarer than the badge itself is the original 3x3.5" stiff card which holds it. In addition to the Lone Ranger slogan this carries the name of the maker Etched Products Corp/L I City N Y" (also see previous item). Card has 1.5" diagonal crease on upper right corner but is otherwise NM as issued. A rarity on the card.
