This is a miniature fully 3-dimensional replica of a crocodile made of luminous plastic 4" long by 5/8" thick and standing about .75" tall. Although it may not be obvious from our photo, the crocodile is very finely detailed with his upper body covered in scales, his lower body done in a smaller pattern of scales, and he stands on four tiny oval feet. He has large oval eyes and his jaw line is accented on each side with fanged teeth. This was a General Mills test premium done in 1941 and offered over only two Minnesota radio stations. General Mills recorded only 809 requests and today we know of only four examples including this. The top of the crocodiles back has three small holes and when blowing air into his mouth a high pitched whistle is produced which can be varied somewhat by placing fingers over one or more of the holes on his back.
