Item Description
Each of these is 1.25" with identical text "Dick Tracy Detective" and each including facsimile signature of the creator "Chester Gould." These are the first buttons to promote the comic strip. They come with back paper specifying the leading population cities of Chicago, Detroit and New York. In this case the first two buttons have back paper reading "Read Dick Tracy Everyday In The Detroit Mirror." The third button, with him in profile from waist up holding a gun has no paper. The other profile button with more of a close-up has five pinpoint tan specks on extreme rim edge but only one shows from the front. Otherwise all three pieces display Mint.
