Item Description
First is a cardboard mailing box which held the flashlight. Box has some creases and small paper loss but overall VG. The paper is 4.75" wide. This has a vertical crease as mailed and three small .25" or less edge tears. The Flashlight is a 3.75" black plastic tube with his facsimile signature on one side. One end contains moveable interior plastic piece that changes the light color from red to green. Light would need bulb and battery to operate but otherwise Exc. condition. Next is an original mailing box for the "Pedometer." Small dent on the end that was opened but top displays very cleanly. The pedometer is a 2.5" metal device with slots on reverse to fasten to a belt. Front includes his facsimile signature as well as small images of him and King. Last does not carry Preston's name but was issued by Quaker cereals and promoted on his program. This is titled "Distance Finder" and is a large aluminum device with a metal plunger that opens a viewing window. Held in the back is a cardboard giving various distance scales. In fact there are two interchangeable cardboards for various sighting purposes. This piece is Exc. All are from the early to mid 1950s.
