Item Description
All five from 1935-1937 issued by Grape-Nut Flakes” cereal. Dizzy Dean lot includes 1" dia. brass pin w/Dean on baseball background, 3.5x6-1/8” certificate, 3.5x6.25” premium folder which opens to 10.5x12.5”. Dean items shown include: pin, ring, book, autographed photo, uniform. Also shows Betty Boop and dog pin. Last Dean item is folded as issued first we’ve seen “Dear Friend” paper dated 1937 which opens to 3-3/8x8-3/8” noting “There Won’t Be A Club This Year” and sending “Buck Jones Premium Catalog Only”. First three items have light wear. Certificate has owner's name in pencil in proper place. Fine/VF. Paper is worn. VG. Last item is Buck Jones folder which opens to 14” wide. Jones premiums shown include: pin, ring, badge, cowboy gear. Other premiums include “Nick Carter” fingerprint set. Back cover has photo of Buck eating “Grub for Breakfast” w/bowl of cereal. VF.
