All from 1957. Six typewritten sheets are 8.5x11”. Includes two page letter from Hollywood attorney Monte Livingston to “Trendle-Campbell-Meurer” mentioning client Clayton Moore and regarding “Simmons Agreement”; biography written by Simmons; Simmons stats and Time charge (includes $4,500 per weekly program, $8,500 for two weekly programs, $1,500 for Canada program); letter to producer Trendle from Lou Smith, likely a press agent, regarding “color plates”; Trendle carbon copy answer to Smith noting picture was “The Front Page From A Sergeant Preston Magazine”; letter signed by President of Whitman Publishing C.W. Dewitt sent to Raymond Meurer regarding new coloring book. Group comes w/8x10” glossy promo photo of Simmons as Preston on horseback w/Yukon King nearby, and 8x10” color paper photo referred to in Smith letter. A few light handling creases, staple holes, and paper clip impressions here and there. Overall Fine/Exc. The show aired from Sept.29, 1955 until Sept. 29, 1958 w/Simmons who began his movie career w/MGM in 1940. A unique group involving behind the scenes activities. From the archives of Detroit’s WXYZ and obtained by former long time station employee Jiam DesJardin.
