Folded as issued paper “Colt Police Silhouette Target” opens to 35x44.75”. Abdomen area has numerous bullet holes. Upper right has ink inscription “ Fired By Brace Beemer ‘The Lone Ranger’ FBI Range Wash. DC October 28,1944 W.Richard Glavin F.B.I.” Bit of wear along fold lines and blank top margin edges. Fine. George Trendle formed a unique relationship between the FBI and the Lone Ranger, both defenders of the public interests. Glavin was assistant director of the Personnel and Budget Division. A truly special and unique item for the Lone Ranger collector/historian. From the archives of Detroit’s WXYZ and obtained by former long time station employee Jiam DesJardin.
