Item Description
Copyright King Features Syndicate 1929, but c. 1930s. 11.75x17-3/8” cardboard w/classic image of Popeye making a muscle in front of box of Wheatena cereal. Scattered surface and edge wear, light 6” horizontal hairline break at center of left side. Die-cut hole at top for hanging has split. Despite problems, colors are bright. VG. Wheatena also issued Popeye character premium rings. First we’ve offered in our 47 years. Great design.
