6.5x9.5” hardcover w/dust jacket © 1975 Muhammad Ali published by Random House. 416 pages written w/award winning journalist Richard Durham. Inside front cover and facing page have four bold ink autographs: “To Charlie Muhammad Ali Aug 10-78, To Charlie As-Salaam-Alaikum (May Pure Be Unto You) From Rahaman Ali 1978, Drew Bundini Brown 78, Wali Muhammad Trainer of Ali 1978”. Rahaman Ali is the younger brother and was a professional boxer and sparring partner when book was signed, Drew Bundini Brown (1928-1987) was assistant trainer and corner man known for quotes including “Float Like A Butterfly Sting Like A Bee” and “Rumble Young Man Rumble”, Wali Muhammad (1927-2012) was one of Ali’s trainers and in his corner from the first fight w/Joe Frazier on. Outside surface page edges have light aging, book otherwise Exc. Book was signed in person at Ali’s training camp in Deer Lake, Pa. when he was training for his return match w/Leon Spinks. He lost the first fight and his title, but won the rematch and regained his title. Great piece of boxing history for the living legend who truly was “The Greatest of All Time”. The only copy of this book signed by these four that we know of. From the Charlie Roberts Collection. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA COA.
