This film is known for its soundtrack, written and produced by soul singer Curtis Mayfield. Super Fly is one of the few films ever to have been outgrossed by its soundtrack. Second shirt features the iconic lips and teeth associated w/the 1975 British musical comedy horror film "The Rocky Horror Picture Show," based on "The Rocky Horror Show," a stage musical by Richard O'Brien. Directed by Jim Sharman from a screenplay co-written by O'Brien, the production is a humorous tribute to the sci-fi and horror B movies of the late 1940s through early 1970s. It introduced Tim Curry and features Susan Sarandon and Barry Bostwick along w/cast members from the original theater production.
