Item Description
17-5/8x22.5" poster for Aug. 1, 1969 concert at the Santa Barbara Fairgrounds Arena. This is an original printing poster as evidenced by the printer register marks at top and bottom margins and bottom margin "Pacific Printing" credit. Art by Frank Bettencourt features psychedelic design showing a sun at top w/a burning zeppelin in front of it as well as a dragon-like creature crawling out from under misspelled "Led Zepplin" name. Additional imagery depicts a robed, bearded man standing by a stone building. The burning zeppelin is an obvious reference to Led Zeppelin's debut self-titled album which was released the same year as this concert. NM.
