See previous item #1702. This is second version, No. 46, released in 1958. This version differs as it features slip-on hoses (not threaded), no hood decals, gauges by hose hook-up are tin litho instead of decal. This version also has separate aluminum ladder, but separate hydrant is missing. Each door has "No. 5" decals. Truck bed shows a few tiny scratches and decals are aged but complete. All rubber remains pliable. Grill, one hose reel and one fender siren has aging/plating loss. Still displays Exc. Comes in original illustrated cardboard box. Box is missing two end flaps and has large area of grease penciling. VG. Old store stock.
