Item Description
2.75x4.25" stiff "New York World's Fair Academy of Sport Laurel Card" w/image of Trylon and Perisphere has been filled out in blue ink and was signed by "School Of Football - Instructor Of The Day" Lou Little, a football player and coach who served as the head coach at Georgetown College(now Georgetown University) from 1924 to 1929 and at Columbia University from 1930 to 1956, compiling a career college football record of 151–128–13. Little played college football as a tackle at the University of Pennsylvania from 1916 to 1919 and then w/the Frankford Yellow Jackets from 1920 to 1923. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame as a coach in 1960. Card is lightly aged but o/w NM. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
