2" dia. Dueber pocket watch w/gold-plated Harlem Watch Case Co. case as noted by printed label on underside of watch case's lid. Label reads "This Certifies That The Accompanying Western Standard Is Made Of Two Plates Of Solid Gold Overlaying A Plate Of Composition And Is Guaranteed To Wear 20 Years." Label has faint penciled serial number. Label is aged but VF/Exc. Hunting case retains bright gold luster and shows very minimal wear. Exc. Hand-painted dial features John C. Dueber name and is personalized w/hand-painted "Dr. A.B. Renneker" owner's name. Smaller seconds dial has hand-painted "World's Fair - Chicago 1893" referencing the World's Columbian Exposition, as item was likely purchased and personalized there. Lightly aged, working and Exc.
