Georgia Edition quarterly published by Univ. of Texas. 8-7/8x11-7/8” high quality stiff paper magazine w/22 pages. Front cover has art of GI and boy reading comics in front of rack. Various lurid titles include: “Horror, Terror, Sex, The Thing, Frenzy”. Contents include four page article “What About Comic Books?” w/art of space man fighting alien monster. Text quotes Frederic Wertham in a few places, and places responsibility of what children read on their parents. Comes w/separate mimeographed letter dated March 7, 1956 on “Code Authority” letterhead sent to Executive Committee by Code Administrator Charles P. Murphy noting enclosure. Front cover has tiny red pencil note, back cover has minor dust soil. Magazine and letter VF overall. Great design w/nice art by Joseph Schwarting. Extremely limited distribution.
