Item Description
Thin art boards are 4x14” w/India ink art. All have ©King Features Syndicate date stickers. 1978 dates are 12-14 & 12-23, 1982 dates are 8-27 & 10-16, 2001 date is 5-7. Mandrake is in total of 11 panels, Lothar is in five. Storylines include bathosphere, going out disco dancing w/Mandrake floating in air, tiny men and giant bees, w/Narda at temple and skull cave. All are signed in ink “Fred Fredericks”. All are clean and Exc. Fredericks has drawn the “Mandrake The Magician” comic strip for over 40 years, did “The Phantom” Sunday comic strip for five years, and inked many comic books.
