Pair of 27x41 one-sheet movie posters. First is for 1972 Godzilla film "Godzilla Vs. Gigan," which was released in the United States in 1978 (by Cinema Share) as "Godzilla On Monster Island." Poster design features large image of Godzilla w/smaller images of the monsters King Ghidorah and the then newly-introduced Gigan in the bkg. Poster has been folded as issued and shows moderate wear along fold lines w/1" tear at top fold crease intersection and .25" tears to other two fold crease intersections. VG. Second is for original 1962 American (Columbia Pictures Corporation )release of the 1961 Toho film which debuted Godzilla ally (and sometimes enemy) Mothra. Poster features great design w/large image of angry-looking Mothra peering over title at the tiny Shobijin priestesses/fairies that accompany Mothra and speak for her. Poster has been folded as issued w/staple holes at top center. Top margin has horizontal crease running 1" from edge but poster still displays Exc. w/wonderful, vivid colors.
