10.5x12.75x1" deep box contains complete Whitman set No. 3930. ©1938. Set has wonderfully illustrated boards printed on underside of lid and on bottom of box tray. Board on bottom of box tray is for "G-Men Clue Game No. 1" and features images of clues, police headquarters, arrest and courtroom scene. Board on underside of lid doubles as "G-Men Clue Game No. 2 - Speed Test" and "G-Men Clue Game No. 3." Board is illustrated w/series of scenes depicting various aspects of crime. Lid and box bottom have slight inward warp w/box bottom having tiny hole at top center. Games are complete w/separate spinner and four wooden disc playing pieces. Box has some corner tip wear but remains free of splits and is VF overall. Scarce. From the Don Maris Collection.
