Item Description
Similar in design to previous item #2406, this is also marked as Whitman set No. 3930, though lid and game board designs are totally different. ©1938. Bottom of box tray features "The Gang Hunt Game No. 1" w/scenes of criminal behind bars and fingerprint under magnifying lens. Underside of lid again features two games - "The Gang Hunt Game No. 2" and "The Gang Hunt Game No. 3." Illustrations show shoot-out, police headquarters and large center image of criminal behind bars in "Jail." Complete w/separate spinner and four wooden disc playing pieces. Box lid and bottom has slight inward warp but are o/w Exc. Scarce. From the Don Maris Collection.
