Item Description
18x24" stretched canvas has original acrylic silkscreen painting of Philadelphia, PA. children's TV hostess Sally Starr (1923–2013), done in a style reminiscent of Andy Warhol's pop art projects of the 1960s. Howanich has painted over a bw silk-screened dot matrix image of Starr. This painting was done in 1992 and has been hand-signed in gold paint pen by the artist at lower right. Exc. Canvas has marked text on reverse noting that this painting once hung in a NJ bar named "Country Drifter." Exc.
