Item Description
Thin art board has 5.25x17-7/8” India ink image area w/Donald in all four panels. He’s in elevator admiring pretty blonde as operator angrily tells him to “Face the Front of the Car!”. Fourth panel has “Walt Disney” ink signature as done by staff artist. Complete w/Walt Disney Productions copyright sticker in panel two, King Features distribution sticker in panel four. Applied zipatone dot pattern used for shading has yellowed with age, trace of lt. dust soil, art otherwise near Exc. Superb and well-drawn early example by the noted artist who did the Donald Duck comic strip from 1938 to 1969.
