8-7/8x11-7/8" flat from 1952. The front panel features bowl of cereal and back has full panel featuring image of Sgt. Preston and his dog Yukon King that was meant to serve as a coloring contest entry. Side panel features directions for contest and full color image of Sgt. Preston and Yukon King. Flat is folded and has inked date at top left flap and trace of lt. aging. Coloring area remains unused. Flat is o/w an unused file copy. Exc. Comes w/9x10.25" envelope w/original cardboard insert. Typed address on front. Two .5" tears along upper margin. Fine. 1957. Contains 8.5x11" typed letter w/facsimile signature which has been folded for mailing. Content notes "Entry In The Quaker Cereals Coloring Contest." Folded as issued. Comes w/7.5x9" photo w/facsimile inscription "Best Wishes - Sgt. Preston And Yukon King." Letter and photo are NM.
