Auction #210 - Part II
Item numbers 1271 through 3109 in auction 210
Item Description
Lot of three multi-piece segments for a proposed 1966 product to be called "Bat-Mobile." We have seen a mock-up prototype packaged version featuring "The Penguin" (see following item #2592) in a bag w/"Bat-Mobile" title and marked w/1966 NPP copyright. Featured here are mobile versions of Batman and Robin's faces, each measuring roughly 10.25x14.75". Third mobile features full body image of Robin and measures approx. 10.5" tall. Art is double-sided and has been done in pen and ink w/watercoloring. Trace of lt. wear to corner tips, but NM overall. Great concept, but ultimately never put into production. Unique.
