The bkg. section is very nicely illustrated depicting jungle scene w/tropical bird, monkey and hut which has die-cut door that opens. Reverse has assembly instructions, list of the statue set and notes they were available w/three panels/cellophane packages of Fould's Macaroni, Spaghetti or Egg Noodles. For use w/Gem Clay Forming Co. premium statue sets offered as premium by Fould's, Heinz and others (see item #2539). c. 1932. Complete w/original mailing envelope w/"Foulds Milling Company return address and typed address label. Envelope has scattered handling wear w/creases along right edge margin. Complete and Fine overall. Stage shows some wear w/scattered handling creases, mainly to die-cut portions of top w/small 7/8" to cardboard at left marquee support (though not torn through surface paper). Still bright and glossy and displays well. VG. One of the rarest and most sought after of all Tarzan premiums, we have only offered a few of these stages in our 47 years, this being in the nicest condition and the only example complete w/original mailing envelope.
