Item Description
Lot of two 10.25x10.75" softbound books each with four 9x9.25" color hankies. Text at bottom of each cover includes "Copyrighted Sept. 1, 1931 By The W.R. Woodard Co. By Permission Of Van Beuren Corporation." Each book consists of four single-sided printed pages of black and white illustrated fables. Each page comes with matching cloth hanky with color illustration. First is titled "Movie Book." 2.5" tear at top cover. Scattered wear on remaining cover. Blank back cover has 2.5x10.75" paper loss at bottom. Does not affect illustrations. Other books is titled "Hanky Book" with full color cover and notation on back cover "Made In USA By R.W. Woodard Co. Los Angeles." Light margin wear to cover, o/w bright, clean Fine. Hankies Exc. From the Gary Selmonsky collection.
