Item Description
Lot of 17 different 3.5x5.5" postcards, each featuring different designs. c. early 1900s-1920. Themes include a mix of July 4th, Memorial Day and patriotic and show George Washington, Uncle Sam (w/Thanksgiving turkey under arm), Grand Army of The Republic medals, firecrackers, American flags, Bald Eagles, children (including Betsy Ross as a child, sewing flag), etc. 11 features art by Ellen H. Clapsaddle. Seven of the 17 have either writing or are postally used. Some designs include embossing, metallic bkg. and metallic accents. Some lt. handling wear, most are Fine-VF overall. All shown online.
