Item Description
Lot of five 2.5" square by .75" tin litho dime banks from the 1960s. Included are - "1964-1965 New York World's Fair Daily Dime Bank" as well as dime banks w/the following themes - Astronaut, Vacation, cowboy and "Piggy." NYWF bank features Fair colors and image of Unisphere w/crowd in silhouette in foreground. R.M.S. Sales Corp. Edges have trace of wear but overall bank is Exc. "Astronaut" features nice astronaut full body image w/rocket in bkg. Trace of edge/corner tip wear. VF/Exc. "Vacation" bank features image of girl feeding ducks. Cowboy theme bank shows young cowboy running w/two sacks on money. Both have edge wear/aging w/some streaks of bare metal showing and are Fine/VF overall. "Piggy Bank" has great pig image w/flowers on sides. Slightly more edge wear/aging than previous two banks. Fine. Aside from NYWF bank, all are by Kalon Mfg.
