Item Description
6.5" tall die-cut tin litho figure shows well-dressed black man playing saxophone. 1920s. Cymbals attached to feet w/wire spring handle on back. When squeezed, this causes jointed figure's arms and legs to separate and cymbals chime when legs return to at-rest position. Additionally, die-cut eyes and mouth reveal different expressions when handle is squeezed, eyes move and smiling teeth become visible. Scattered lt. wear/aging but VF overall. From the Maurice Sendak Collection and comes with COA.
